Regional Rarities were created in response to the needs and expectations of consumers who are not only looking for innovative, tasty products, but also want to connect with their small, local homeland with their purchasing choices. When shopping, Poles most often pay attention to the origin and composition of food. Mlekovita cares about original local recipes and thanks to this it can offer its consumers a wide selection of dairy products and at the same time travel through the regions where the Mlekovita Group plants are located. Bialski cheese from the Krzna Valley is already a hit – a three-time winner of last year's Poznań International Fair Polara: it won the Gold Medal, the Gold Medal – Consumers' Choice and the Grand Prix of the MTP Group.
More new products in the cheese category
Recently, the range of products under the Mlekovita brand has been expanded to include further regional novelties in the cheese category. Kasztel z Dolina Roztocze is a cheese made from the best Polish milk obtained from farms located in a unique region: famous for its clean air and unique microclimate of Roztocze. Produced in the Mlekovita Group plant in Tomaszów Lubelski, it owes its unique taste and aroma to maturing in carefully selected conditions and coming from an ecologically clean, low-industrialized region. Similarly, Narie from the Lake District of Warmia and Mazury, which is produced at the Mlekovita Group plant in Morąg. In the near future, the group of regional cheeses will also be joined by Koźmin cheese from Wielkopolska, produced in the Koźmin Wielkopolski plant, with a delicate aroma and noble taste.
All cheeses, apart from their local flavor and aroma, are characterized by a high content of easily digestible protein and calcium and are prepared without the addition of preservatives.

Products offered to local markets
In addition to a wide range of cheeses, the Regionalne Rarytasy line also includes products offered for the local market, including: cream cheese and cream 30% from Pilica, cottage cheese and cream 18% from Sanok, semi-skimmed cottage cheese from Działdowo, sour cream 18% from Ostrowiec, fried cheese from Pyrzyce, low-fat, semi-fat, fat and cream cheese and fried cheese and fried cheese from cumin from Chodzież or butter from Greater Poland produced in Czarnków.
A number of regional cheeses can also be found in the Górskie Specjały from Zakopane and Sanok line – Gołki, Faruki, Przysmaki Góralskie, Warkocze Serowe, Sakwa z Gór, Gryficki cheese and the noble Emmentaler.
Products with the "Quality Tradition" mark
Regional Rarities and Mountain Specialties are not the only source of local products from Mlekovita. The offer of the cooperative from Wysokie Mazowiecki also includes: products with the "Quality Tradition" mark.
"Jakość Tradycja" is awarded by the Polish Chamber of Regional and Local Products and its aim is to distinguish high-quality food products resulting from their traditional character, having special quality, reputation or other features that distinguish them from others belonging to the same category. This year the "Quality Tradition" certificate was again awarded to Salami cheese from Koźmin, produced according to the traditional recipe of master cheesemakers.
Blue mold cheese with blue mold produced in Kamienna Góra, located in the Karkonosze Mountains, also boasts the "Quality Tradition" certificate. It has been made since 1956 and cared for by hand using traditional methods by qualified cheesemakers. Thanks to the inclusion of the plant in Kamienna Góra into the Mlekovita Group, this product, known mainly in Lower Silesia, gained a nationwide market, disseminating a popular and regionally liked product throughout the country. The "Quality Tradition" mark also confirms the tradition of producing cottage cheese locally produced in the Mlekovita Group plants: Twarog Sudecki produced in Kamienna Góra, and Twarog Wiejska produced in Pilica.
Regional products manufactured in the Mlekovita Group plants are available in 36 distribution centers, 147 Mlekovita company stores and the online store.
