Microelements in the dressing will be useful for plants
In the autumn-winter period, young seedlings struggle with difficult conditions, such as low temperatures and limited access to nutrients. The process of seed dressing, which involves covering them with chemical or biological agents just before sowing, allows plants to germinate more easily and strengthens their natural defense mechanisms. In this way, the grains are protected from diseases and pests, which supports their even development and resistance to stress.
An effective dressing process provides the plant with a range of macro and microelements in the initial growth phase. In addition to basic ingredients such as nitrogen and sulfur, microelements such as:
- Boron (B) – conditions the formation of cell walls, root growth and the formation of lignin. Good nutrition in the component allows the plant to survive low temperatures, thanks to the thickening of cell juices. It is responsible for the synthesis of phenols, which are toxic to pathogens, thereby increasing resistance to diseases.
- Copper (Cu) – is essential in the photosynthesis process, without it the plant cannot breathe. It conditions the metabolism of proteins and carbohydrates, thanks to which young seedlings develop properly. Adequate supply of copper guarantees higher resistance to stress and fungal diseases.
- Iron (Fe) – has an impact on CO2 uptake in the photosynthesis process and is involved in the formation of lignin. Thanks to good nutrition in the component, plants are characterized by intense vigour, high resistance to difficult weather conditions and greater resistance to pathogens.
- Manganese (Mn) – a key component in the process of chlorophyll formation and protein synthesis. It is essential for the basic life processes of plants, and therefore for the germination of healthy, strong seedlings. It allows the plant to properly manage nitrogen and phosphorus. Provided at the stage of seed dressing, it significantly increases the plant's resistance to water and thermal stress.
- Zinc (Zn) – regulates nitrogen uptake and influences its transformation into protein. Activates many enzymes and conditions the proper course of the photosynthesis process. Thanks to the supply of zinc, plants can, among other things, develop a deep-reaching root system and effectively manage nitrogen.

When to plow for winter cereals?
New seed fertilizer from Agria Polska
Agrii Polska recommends the multi-component foliQ Fessional seed fertilizer for dressing winter and spring cereals. The product is intended for all types of winter and spring cereals, providing essential nutrients from the initial stages of growth and development. The liquid formula allows for even coverage of dressed seeds, also when used with other dressings, and the composition rich in macro and microelements provides plants with access to valuable nutrients.
Thanks to the microelements in the fertilizer, young seedlings are provided with accelerated and even emergence, as well as higher health and resistance to stress factors. The product is to improve the concentration of moisture around germinating seeds, which prevents the death of young plants and reduces the effects of drought. It helps to create a healthy root system, thanks to which the plant uses food resources in the lower layers of soil more efficiently and is resistant to freezing.
