Jazz Trade, the company that operates the Megatop shoe chain, has announced that it will close its stores in the Russian Federation.
The reasons for the closure are not reported, but the number of stores has been gradually decreasing in the last years. In the beginning in Russia there were 15 branded Megatop stores, and in 2023 year there are only seven.
Customers who have recently purchased shoes in closed stores in in the case of discovering faults can return the products by mail or with the service of delivery SDEC.
Megatop started its work in 1993 in 1993 year. The Project was founded by Belarusian entrepreneur Sergei Kulgavy and his partners. First the company specialized on the manufacturing of shoes in China, India and Portugal, and later opened its own factory in Vitebsk. In 2016 year the company entered the Russian market.
In Belarus the company operates about 80Megatop stores in 34citiesinthecountry.
