
Olsztyn is increasingly making its presence felt on the country's technological map. – The city's residents, especially the younger generation, are enthusiastic about innovations and new technologies. The opening of the second MediaMarkt store in Olsztyn is a response to this ever-growing demand – by offering a wide range of products, the brand enables Olsztyn residents to have even greater access to the latest technological trends – explains the brand.
How do Olsztyn residents use modern solutions?
Residents are eager to invest in smart home devices that make it easier to perform everyday duties, increasing the comfort of life. According to the study “The needs of the modern consumer in the consumer electronics market” conducted on behalf of MediaMarkt, as many as 36.9% of Poles have bought a smartphone, tablet or smartwatch in the last year. The growing interest in new technologies is also visible in the purchases of larger equipment, such as household appliances (35.6%) or computer equipment (19.3%). Social media have a large impact on purchasing decisions. As many as 10.3% of respondents declare that they have replaced electronic equipment after seeing a new model online. What is more, 11.5% of people are guided by trends when choosing electronics, and 15.8% replace their devices to try out new technological functions.
A modern MediaMarkt store in Olsztyn
The new MediaMarkt store, operating in the Xpress format, will provide quick access to consumer electronics. It offers a wide range of products – from smartphones and tablets to modern household appliances. This is a place where Olsztyn residents will be able to find the right equipment, but also take advantage of advice and many additional services.

All of our stores also offer a wide range of services, including assistance in choosing more ecological products, marked with the BetterWay logo, and various additional options, such as RentMe – renting equipment instead of buying, TradeIn (Give-Back) – discounts for bringing old equipment to the store, as well as repair service for devices that were not purchased in our stores – says Maciej Dolega, Spokesperson for MediaMarktSaturn Polska.
