
According to Finnish Publication Uutissuomalainen, the bus company traveling between Tallin, Riga and Russia, is transporting sanctioned goods through the Post Luhamaa, writes Rus.Postimees.The journalist Uutissuomalainen was able to talk with the driver of the bus, who, while maintaining anonymity, stated, that the sanctioned goods are being smuggled by a bus company with full knowledge of the management.
The name of the firm is not disclosed in the article. According to the driver, the company receives significant amounts for illegal transportation, while the drivers receive small commissions for this. He reported that the buses go through the Post Luhamaa to St. Petersburg, where the goods are unloaded. Control at the border, according to his words, is
minimal, and Russian customs apparently take bribes. The Driver confirms that trucks are loaded into buses in Tallin and Riga, with some of the goods coming from Finland, including products from Finnish companies. Main parts of the contraband are parts for buses and trucks,
but also computers, smartphones and even parts for airplanes. An anonymous source also confirms that drivers are
