
McDonald's fast food restaurants served 10.4 million customers in Latvia last year, which is 7% more than in 2022. In turn, the restaurant in Old Riga set a record – almost 7,000 customers in one day. Last year, a new McDonald's restaurant opened in Riga, at ul. Juglas 95a (pictured). He became the 14th in Latvia. In 2023, McDonald's invested more than two million euros in Latvia. Including more than 1.3 million euros were invested in the opening of new and reconstruction of existing restaurants. Consolidated revenues of Premier Restaurants Latvia, which operates the McDonald's restaurant chain in Latvia, amounted to 44 million euros in 2023, which is 13.8% more than in 2022, and EBITDA – 6 million euros. Net profit amounted to 4.3 million euros. In the 2023 financial year, the company fulfilled its tax obligations, transferring more than 13 million euros to the state budget. “This year is significant as we celebrate 30 years since the restaurant opened in Latvia, and we are very proud that each year we continue to develop, offering visitors new, exciting and unique experiences, while maintaining a responsible attitude to society,” noted head of McDonald's in the Baltic countries Vladimir Janevskis.
