On auction from 7. January br. on the Global Dairy Trade exchange there was another decrease in quotes of dairy products, which additionally exacerbated the decline recorded during the previous session on 17 December 2024 . (- 2.8 percent).
Despite a reduction in value of the general price index, only half of offered categories of dairy products subjected to overpricing. The highest decrease was recorded in lactose (- 2.4 percent). The highest increase occurred in the case of Mozzarella (+ 3.6 proc.). During this session all product categories were available.
During the auction there were 17 rounds of licensing, in which took part a total of 189
offerers. The average price won in this trade event was 4029 USD/MT.

At the last session GDT sold 30 156 tons of dairy products, which constituted a result of almost 2 thousand. ton lower in comparison with the previous auction. Results of the last session of GDT shape as follows:
- Unhydrogenated fat milk – decrease by 1.6 percent,
- Butter – increase o 2.6 proc.,
- Buttermilk in powder – increase o 0.9 proc.,
- Cheddar – increase o 1.0 proc,
- Lactose – decrease o 2.4 proc.,
- Mozzarella – increase o 3.6 proc,
- Fat milk in
powder – decrease
o 2.2 proc,
- Full milk in powder – decrease
o 2.1 proc.
