Mark Formelle will create the largest coloring book in the country in Minsk. An unusual record is planned to be set in the Dana Mall shopping center on June 1, International Children's Day. Anyone can join the process and decorate part of the giant canvas.
A huge sticker will appear in the atrium of the shopping center. It will be round, with a diameter of about 7 meters. A team of illustrators created a giant print with black and white outlines. Visitors will add color: the organizers will offer to paint the composition.
Next to the floor sticker there will be a 3D coloring in the shape of the letters MF. Their height will be 1.6 meters and width – 3 meters. When all the drawings are painted, the sticker will be available for photography for another day.
The coloring book will be part of the large-scale Art U Wear project, the philosophy of which is revealed by the phrase “the art of wearing art.” The Art U Wear line already includes joint collections with the National Art Museum, in which masterpieces of world art are reinterpreted. And recently a capsule of home clothes in the style of the famous Grodno painter Lev Bakst was presented.
“There is an artist in each of us. To prove this, we will present the largest coloring book in the country in Minsk and fill it with flowers together with everyone. The record should become popular – there will be enough markers for both children and adults. So everyone can be part of something big. The giant coloring book is conceived as part of the Art U Wear project, which brings fashion and art closer together, and this time will allow Belarusians to get involved in the creation of something unique,” explains Mark Formelle.
But that’s not all, in the Mark Formelle store on the second floor of the Dana Mall shopping center from 12.00 to 16.00 there will be a custom zone for creating T-shirt designs. Designers will offer to create a unique custom T-shirt. In addition, there will be 15% discounts on T-shirts on this day.
The event will symbolically take place on International Children's Day. You can take part in the creation of a giant coloring book only on June 1 at the Dana Mall, and on June 2 it will be available for photo sessions.
