The Magnit company decided to create a pharmacy marketplace on the basis of Magnit Pharmacy, writes Kommersant . The network has already begun to cooperate with suppliers.

“Magnit Pharmacy” will become a specialized marketplace; pharmaceutical distributor “Pulse” has already appeared among the first partners. Through cooperation with this supplier, the range of Magnit Pharmacy will be increased from 4,000 to 15,000 product items. According to a Magnit representative, it is planned to attract another large supplier to the project by the end of 2024.
It is assumed that when ordering goods from the service range, the buyer will be able to receive the order within 30 minutes. If the user orders medicines from third-party companies, the order will arrive within one to three days.
In 2017, the Magnit chain opened its first pharmacies in test mode, and in 2018, with the acquisition of pharmaceutical distributor SIA Group, it accelerated its scaling. But in 2023, the retailer decided to close its own distribution of pharmaceutical products. Currently, the share of e-commerce in Magnit Pharmacy’s turnover is close to 20%, which is higher than that of other areas of the retailer.
