According to the first 6 months of 2024, sales growth was +38% in monetary terms and +22% in quantitative terms compared to the same period last year. The average price for headphones in Russia was 2.3 thousand rubles.
The most popular devices in monetary and unit terms among consumers are devices from the brands Apple, JBL, Huawei and Samsung.
“The headphone market in Russia continues to grow. This is due to the fact that users have become more mobile – they are increasingly consuming content on the road, while jogging, or during a walk without being tied to a specific place, for example, to their home or office. Russians actively listen to podcasts, audiobooks, music, and also watch films and TV series. All these factors have a positive impact on the headphone market in Russia,” commented Ekaterina Iksanova, head of the Telecom and Gadgets department of the M. Video-Eldorado group.
