Analysts of M. Video-Eldorado analyzed statistics of coffee machine sales. According to preliminary data, for 6 months the growth of sales on the Russian market was +44% in monetary terms and +35% in quantitative terms compared to the same period last year.

In total, in the first half of 2024, Russians purchased 1.1 million coffee machines for a total of 15.9 billion rubles. These results were caused by a general surge in the popularity of coffee among Russians, as well as a trend for consuming the drink in the “to go” format, which can be prepared at home thanks to a wide range of both devices for preparing a high-quality drink and raw materials.
The top 5 brands in monetary and piece terms include Delonghi, Philips, Krups, Thomson and Polaris. Also popular among coffee lovers is a new manufacturer – Stelvio, priced from 4.5 thousand rubles.
In monetary terms, 72% are automatic coffee machines with a built-in cappuccino maker or milk tank, in terms of units their share is 23%. The sales driver was productive models from the middle and premium segments, as well as models with remote control, which allow you to prepare drinks of varying complexity at home. The top three popular manufacturers are: Krups, DeLonghi and Philips.
Capsule coffee machines account for about 8% of the market in money and 14% in units. Drip coffee makers account for about 4% of the market in money and 24% in units, their popularity is explained by their relatively low cost (from 2 thousand rubles). Horn coffee machines account for 14% of the market in money and 20% in units. Another 2.5% is occupied by other types of devices, including coffee makers for making Turkish coffee.
