Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air will begin flights to two UAE cities – Abu Dhabi and Jeddah, Euronews reports .
It will be possible to fly from Milan to Abu Dhabi, and from London to Jeddah.
The ticket price will depend on the comfort level. Passengers who agree to fewer additional services will be able to buy tickets cheaper. The distance between the seats on the planes will be the same as on short flights in Europe, the airline noted. The cost of tickets starts from 160 euros.
Wizz Air CEO Jozsef Varadi said that the airline plans to expand its long-haul routes in the future. To do this, the airline plans to purchase new aircraft that will be able to fly for up to eight hours instead of the current six.
The flight from Milan to Abu Dhabi takes about six hours, and from London to Jeddah just over six hours.
Wizz Air also offers direct flights from Tallinn to London and Milan.
