Amber Grid, the operator of the Lithuanian natural gas transmission system, today published its results for the last quarter. It turned out that the company's revenue and EBITDA profit fell, and the net result was negative.

During the second quarter of this year, the income of this company reached 14,466 million. euros, which compared to the same period last year, is about sixteen percent less.

Amber Grid's EBITDA profit shrank by 44.2 percent to 2,941 million. euros, and the net result was negative and amounted to 0.517 million. euros, when a year ago in the second quarter 10,778 million were earned. EUR net profit, it is true, largely due to a one-time positive 9.076 million impact of euros.

In total, after the first half of this year, the income of this company reaches 35,049 million. euros, or 17.9 percent less than in the first half of 2023. EBITDA profit increased by about twelve percent to 11,952 million. EUR, while net profit shrank from EUR 12,577 to EUR 3,447 million. euros. Adjusted EBITDA grew by 9.5 percent to 13.8 million. EUR, and the adjusted net profit – from 5 to 5.1 million. euros.

Amber Grid's share price is up 3.6 percent since the start of the year, after falling 7.3 percent over the past one year. For comparison, the value of the OMX Vilnius GI index increased by 4.4 percent and 2.2 percent, respectively.
