Lithuania will propose Latvia and Estonia to build a new power plant to ensure flexible production of electricity and energy security, reported Minister of energy Lithuania Zygimantas Vaiciunas.The minister did not specify where and with which technology
the project could be implemented. “Ideally, if we reach this agreement with Latvia and Estonia, it could be a new power plant. In the case of with regional projects we have a number of calls in the negotiation plan with regional partners. But if that such decision is made, then, of course, such flexible generation, as usually is gas, but for now we are at the stage of initiating this issue, ”
