Currently, there are 16 companies on the list of sanctioned companies. One of them is UAB Eurochem Logistics International, whose main shareholder is Andrey Igorevich Melnichnek, the same person who was also the main shareholder of Lifosa. Later, his wife Aleksandra became the main beneficiary, but soon she too was added to the EU's list of sanctioned people.
The company did not operate at all for some time, then the central government allowed the resumption of operations after the appointment of a temporary administrator.
The position of the latter was occupied by several individuals and companies, due to disagreements with the first temporary administrator appointed by the government, the then director of the company, Rimantas Proscevičius, resigned, and a number of other long-term employees also left.
The company said that in 2022-2023 alone, when the company was placed on the sanctioned list, it suffered more than 100 million euros. euro loss.

At the end of June, a decision was made that "Lifosa" was removed from the list of sanctioned companies from the first day of July.

In the resolution signed by FNTT deputy director Mindaugas Stravinskas, it is announced that as of June 25 of this year UAB "Valnetas" has been appointed as the temporary administrator of the registered AB "Lifosa". This appointment continues until May 22 next year.
From 2024 after the changes to the list of sanctioned companies come into effect on July 1, AB "Lifosa" must be removed from the list until AB "Lifosa" has an appointed temporary administrator.
The company has not yet commented on whether such changes will lead to any changes in the company's work.
