Nationals of Lithuania and Estonia have invested more than one billion euros in fixed assets of Latvian enterprises, according to a study by Lursoft IT. Data from Lursoft IT show that in recent years the volume of Lithuanian investments in fixed assets of Latvian enterprises has increased: in 2023 – by 47.29 million euros , and this year – by 23.22 million euros. Meanwhile, the volume of investments in fixed assets of Latvian enterprises by persons from Estonia has increased even more this year – by 99.16 million euros. Last year the increase was 28.69 million euros, and in 2022 – 84.16 million euros. Currently, persons from Estonia have invested 1.01 billion euros in the fixed capital of Latvian enterprises. Data summarized by Lursoft IT show that in 2023, enterprises with Estonian and Lithuanian capital provided jobs to 54.17 thousand people, paying 1.73 billion euros in taxes.
