
Lidl Eesti will increase wages from 1 March of this year to all employees at its stores. As a whole the salary fund of employees Lidl Eesti will be increased by approximately 1 080 000 Euros.Fulfilling its promise to pay better wages in the retail sector, Lidl is raising the monthly wages of employees in its stores. In March of last
year the company also raised the wages of employees and increased the number of different benefits. Lidl Eesti is recognized as one of the best employers in Estonia,
for the third year the contractor has been awarded the Top Employer title. In Europe the Top Employer Europe title is awarded Lidl every eight times. The decision to increase wages of workers at stores was made
as because of the increasing costs of life, so and in in the light of this Lidl promise to pay the best wages in the retail sector. “The Lidl team is the most critical asset of our enterprise. We are successful as much as our people are dedicated to our business. We have made a promise to our employees to offer wages above the industry average and
intend to keep it. Bearing in mind both the increasing cost of life, and the market situation as a whole, We have decided to increase the new year’s wages to store employees,” said Liina Kippasto, a member of the Management of Lidl Eesti . Kippasto noted that Lidl employees are also offered a number of benefits that help take care of their mental and physical health: “All workers have from the first day of work have additional health insurance, besides, we have payment for rewarded work and reimbursement for transportation expenses.We offer
