
The retailer Lidl Latvija from 1 March 2025 year will increase employee wages by investing almost 3,2 million euros, the company reported.Last year Lidl also increased the wages of employees and expanded the number
of bonuses. The decision to increase wages of staff stores and the logistics center was made with the increasing cost of life and the company’s promise to offer one of
the highest wages in grocery retail. “We promised our employees salaries that are above the industry average, and intend to keep that promise. Bearing in mind both the increasing cost of life, and the market situation, we have decided to increase wages in this year.” – says member of the department

to remain competitive as an employer and to fulfill the
promise to pay more than the industry average. Kippasto noted that Lidl also offers its employees additional benefits. According to Lursoft data, in 2023 year the turnover of SIA Lidl Latvija was almost 471
