Salary increases at Lidl

From July 2024, store employees will earn from PLN 4,750 gross to PLN 5,700 gross at the beginning of employment. After just one year of work, the employer guarantees an increase in salary from PLN 4,950 gross to PLN 5,900 gross, and after two years of work experience from PLN 5,150 gross to PLN 6,150 gross. The level of remuneration is always defined in the employment contract.

However, in the case of the warehouse crew's salary, after increases it will range from PLN 5,200 gross to PLN 5,850 gross at the beginning of employment. After just one year of work, it will increase to a level from PLN 5,500 gross to PLN 6,100 gross. After two years of employment, it will range from PLN 5,750 gross to PLN 6,400 gross, and after three years of employment, from PLN 6,100 gross to PLN 6,700 gross.

How much will Lidl store managers earn?

In turn, store managers can count on remuneration ranging from PLN 7,400 gross. Moreover, at Lidl Polska, all store managers are entitled to a comfortable company car. The amount of the raise depends on the position held. In total, the company will spend over PLN 240 million on salary increases.

Benefits for Lidl employees

In addition to high salaries – as Lidl emphasizes, they are among the highest in the trade, the chain guarantees its staff a wide range of non-wage benefits, such as: private medical care, group and travel insurance, MultiSport and Medicover Sport cards, training, layettes "for babies" and first-graders, as well as a free support program for a psychologist, lawyer and financial advisor. An additional benefit was also introduced, i.e. annual accident insurance for employees' children and grandchildren, covering accidents up to the age of 25.

In March this year the chain invited employees to take part in the Christmas version of the promotional campaign of the Lidl Plus application. As part of it, they received discount coupons worth a total of PLN 400 for purchases. The promotion was addressed to employees and associates, as well as people employed by some contractors. The aim of the campaign was to reach the widest possible group of users with the application – participants could invite any selected people to participate, including their relatives and friends.
