SIA "LDz Cargo", a subsidiary of the state joint-stock company Latvijas dzelzceļš (LDz), will hold an auction of locomotives on August 29, the company reported in the official publication Latvijas vīstnesis. The company "LDz Cargo" will sell the locomotive "M62-1291" at an open oral auction with a starting price of 94,000 euros. The auction step will be 5,000 euros. The turnover of "LDz Cargo" last year amounted to 134.372 million euros, which is 9.5% less than in 2022, and the company's profit decreased by 39.9% – to 3.068 million euros. The company "LDz Cargo" is part of the LDz concern and is engaged in rail freight transportation.
