Estonian business leaders have called on the government to halt the indexed growth of the state budget and introduce a temporary corporate income tax. They have also expressed their willingness to establish a free consultative chamber, as they believe the state lacks the necessary knowledge and experience to implement structural changes. If we introduce a tax aimed at discouraging capital-intensive projects, we will lose the most ambitious investments in high technology and the most important sectors of the future, such as energy production and security.
