When talking about the recently introduced red zones we are talking about the areas around fires ASF in the Chełminski and Kwidzyn and Stumski districts. If it is about the Chelminski county fires occurred on the days 9 and 12 of August. From other in Pomerania the disease appeared on 23 July (district kwidzyn) and 19 August (district stum. In the case of both zones we assumed that their removal would be possible only in summer. Such are usually procedures in the case of fires. This time the Commission has decided however to release these territories from most restrictions.
Where was the red zone lifted?
W through the last Regulation the area of the highest restrictions has been erected in the following locations:
Kujawsko-Pomorskie
- Chełmno County (city Chełmno, municipalities Chełmno,, Kijewo Królewskie, Papowo Biskupie, Stolno and Unislaw)
- Sświecki County (municipalities Bukowiec, Pruszcz and Swiecie)
Voivodeship Pomorskie:
- Kwidzyn County (City Kwidzyn, Municipalities
Kwidzyn, Prabuty and Ryjewo)
- Stum Region (municipalities Mikołajki Pomorskie, Stary Targ and Sztum)

Big changes in regionalization ASF. Pink zone in another province
Will another red zone disappear?
We now have some other locations in which in a long time it would be possible to remove the red zone. In last year we had some single focus (e.g. in Pilski and szamotulski in Wielkopolska and choszczeń and myśliborski in Western Pomeranian voivodeship. We also have some regions where there are two focuses of the disease – that is for example in hrubieszów (Lublin). Being considering the last decision of the Commission, it is not also excluded to eliminate the zone in those rounds.
Pink Zones lifted in Mazovia and Subcarpathia
The recent Decision KE lifted also a significant area of pink zone (related to occurrence ASFwild boar) in the territory of Mazovian and Subcarpathian Voivodeships. The following areas were excluded from the zone:
Mazovian province:
- Province makowski (municipalities Czerwonka, Krasnosielc, Płoniawy-Bramura, Rzewnie, Sypniewo and Szelków)
- Province ostrowski (municipalities
