LAMA Marketing and Advertising Festival: The preferential deadline for accepting works ends on August 15

Creative marketing is increasingly important for the effectiveness of projects in the field of communications in the international arena: creativity, innovation, an unconventional view of familiar things in marketing give companies competitive advantages, and creativity embodied in innovation allows companies to move to a new stage of development. That is why the LAMA Marketing and Advertising Festival is an event that is annually awaited by representatives of the communications industry of Belarus.

The general partner of the LAMA Marketing and Advertising Festival is the international payment system Mastercard , a leader in the creation and use of contactless technologies and other innovative solutions.

Every year, more than four hundred projects from communications, marketing, advertising, branding, digital, event and PR agencies from Belarus take part in the competition program of the LAMA Festival, and increasingly more often among the cases there are projects created with the active participation of advertising companies that achieve success in marketing thanks to creative solutions.

Competition projects are accepted online in 126 nominations in two verticals : industrial and category.

The LAMA 2024 industrial vertical includes 105 nominations, in which projects of any format can be submitted for the competition: from radio or video clips to integrated campaigns, corporate identity design, packaging and even marketing effectiveness. Projects in this vertical will be assessed by the Agency Jury, which will include the brightest representatives of the Belarusian advertising market, creatives, art directors, winners of international and local creativity festivals, including representatives of agencies included in the TOP Agency Creativity Rating 2023.

The LAMA 2024 category vertical includes 21 nominations, which are segmented by product categories, regardless of the type of advertising. The competition works in this vertical will be evaluated by the Client Jury – marketing and advertising directors, creative directors of international and local brands – experts whose advertising campaigns are most visible and creatively presented on the local market.

Both jury panels will evaluate projects independently of each other, which will create a harmonious rating system for festival awards.

Every year, the participants of the competition strive to show the best results within the framework of the Festival and receive the coveted awards, because victories at the LAMA Festival can rightfully be considered an indicator of professional and creative competence, since the works are assessed by a professional jury. The winners of the Festival will be published in industrial media, Internet resources and announced on November 6 at the Award Ceremony of the LAMA Marketing and Advertising Festival at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Minsk, where key figures of the industry, winners of the Grand Prix, gold, silver and bronze awards will gather. This year, for the first time, the Creative Brand of the Festival will be named, the works of which will receive the highest number of points from both jury panels of the festival, regardless of who submitted the projects for participation – the agency or the advertiser directly.

Winners, prize winners and finalists will be included in the Agency Creativity Rating 2024 , developed by the Association of Communications and Marketing Agencies ( ACMA ). The rating serves as an industry benchmark for international and local brands when choosing a creative partner for strategic cooperation, promotes the Belarusian advertising industry in foreign markets, increases the creative level of agencies and their competitiveness.
