The Komputronik group's revenues were lower than a year earlier, but higher than in 2021, which was a record year for the industry.
Komputronik and Komputronik Biznes repay the arrangement installments
Komputronik is slowly gaining greater market shares and optimizing its difficult operations on the new technologies market, the value of which is falling for the second year in a row throughout Europe, not only in Poland. An additional catalyst for development is the fact that Komputronik and Komputronik Biznes are repaying the arrangement installments – since the beginning of the Sanation, they have generated over PLN 125 million in EBITDA (operating profit plus depreciation), of which PLN 56.4 million was allocated to timely repayment of installments for all creditors.
The company's management is moderately optimistic about sales in 2024, noting the market recovery and increased demand for key product categories.
The increase in demand, particularly visible in the fourth quarter of last year, included the segment of PC computers, devices for building smart homes and offices, and IT outsourcing services. This was also influenced by government programs and the inflow of funds from the National Reconstruction Plan (KPO), which stimulate the industry.
– Last year was one of the most difficult for electronics distributors and IT integrators, but we managed to achieve stable results thanks to the quick implementation of optimization activities – commented Wojciech Buczkowski, president of Komputronik.
