– We are constantly working on optimizing the network of salons. We analyze the market, check shopping trends, follow technological innovations in order to implement the best solutions in our network, which will make the salons not only functional, transparent, but above all friendly to every customer. We make sure that everyone can find something for themselves in our point, which is why we focus on product diversity. This approach poses challenges related to the equipment and decor of the salons – says Robert Szczepaniak, marketing director at Kolporter.
Kolporter is modernizing the salons. It's not an easy task
– Interior design for new product categories is not an easy task. The showrooms are characterized by different layouts and sizes of sales rooms. Our task is to adapt and arrange shelves, display cases, and displays so that the showroom is spacious, and searching for products is convenient and clear. In our work, we are guided by ergonomics, which is why we separate shopping zones, e.g. food, press, for children – Figle Migle, Party Deco, with GSM accessories. A customer interested in specific products, seeing the right zone, immediately knows where to go – says Małgorzata Czajewicz, Investment Manager in the Kolporter Showrooms Division.
In the first six months of 2024, eighteen Kolporter points were optimized and redesigned. The modernized stores located in the following shopping malls: Borek and Magnolia Park in Wrocław, Plaza in Toruń, Silesia in Katowice, Galaxy in Szczecin, Galeria nad Jeziorem in Konin, Carrefour in Tarnowskie Góry, Auchan in Mikołów. The stores located in CH Bursztyn in Kalisz, CH Kometa-Auchan in Toruń, CH Kowale in Kowale and DH in Międzyrzec Podlaski also have a new look.
The list of "facelifted salons" ends with points located at discount stores and on shopping streets in cities such as: Golub Dobrzyń (ul. Żeromskiego 13), Warsaw (ul. Wojciechowskiego 39), Piekary Śląskie (ul. M. Curie-Skłodowskiej 65A), Zwoleń (ul. Jana Pawła II) or Chełm (ul. Lubelska 173 and ul. Lwowska 18B).
Premium project distributor
– The eight points that we modernized in the first half of 2024 are being implemented as part of the premium project. These salons are located in places with high customer traffic and are characterized by their size, spacious sales room with modern, illuminated furniture and displays – adds M. Czajewicz.
In addition to work on optimizing the salons, seven new points appeared on the Kolporter network map in the first six months of this year.
– We are constantly looking for locations where we could create a showroom. Guided by the sustainable development of the network, we choose not only points located in large cities, shopping malls, but also in trade centers or smaller towns. "A showroom for you" – this is our motto, which we follow in every area of work on our network – also in matters related to location. Our points are to be located in places easily accessible to the customer, near communication routes, in attractive places and frequently visited by customers – reveals Małgorzata Czajewicz. – In the first half of the year, we opened seven new showrooms. They are located in Gdańsk, Lublin, Konin, Krasnystaw, Pobiedziska, Staszów and Zduńska Wola – she enumerates.
– The trade market is constantly changing. Companies are closing down, changing industries, giving up some of their activities, and people who are associated with them are looking to the future with uncertainty. More and more people are looking for a safe business partner, such as Kolporter – says Agnieszka Michta, Head of the Contracts Department in the Press Salons Department at Kolporter. – As a company, we offer a safe model of cooperation aimed at people running or wanting to run their own business. As one of the few on the market, we do not require any down payment and do not charge any additional fees from agents.
