an official of the Chairman of the Board of the Company was in compliance with the Statement of Preventing Conflict of Interest. In the framework of its competence KNAB KNAB has comprehensively examined information about whether the services provision and payment of remuneration by the foreign company 2e Systems
GmbH, partly partly owned by a public official, the positions of preventing conflict of interest and does not affect the personal or material interest of a management of airBaltic. The information received in the investigation demonstrates that airBaltic began cooperation with 2e Systems GmbH even before that, as a government official person began to perform his responsibilities as a member of the management of the airline. a possible conflict of interest or an other violation of the rules on conflict of interest. In addition, the KNAB has concluded that this official is neither a shareholder nor a true beneficiary.of 2e Systems GmbH. It was previously reported that in early January in social networks in the representative of the
National Union Girts Lapins wrote, that “Martin Gauss owns the German enterprise MaGau GmBH, which, in turn, owns the company 2e systems gmbh. This 2e systems is the supplier of airBaltic”. In their turn, the representatives of AirBaltic explained that 2e systems became a business partner of AirBaltic in 2006
, more than four years before Gauss was invited to airBaltic as the Chairman of the Board. When he took over airBaltic and acknowledged that 2e systems was a supplier to airBaltic, Gauss declared his relationship with this company. The declarations of Gauss as a public official indicate that
