Kappahl, Newbie i Hebe zadomowiły się w Galerii Północnej

– We are not slowing down and we are continuing our work aimed at developing Północna's offer, especially in the key segments for us: fashion, health and beauty, and the offer for children. We are currently focusing on acquiring new brands that enrich the set of brands and strengthen the position of the gallery on the local market, as well as on strengthening cooperation with our long-term partners – says Justyna Markiewicz, Director of the Retail Leasing Department at GTC SA

– The result of this work are three more annexes, this time with Kappahl, Hebe and Newbie, which expand the pool of agreements signed since the beginning of this year. The fact that this number has been growing continuously since January shows that we are perceived by large players and market leaders as a solid business partner on the Warsaw market, with whom it is worth cooperating in the long term – he adds.

Tenants of the Northern Gallery

Since the beginning of 2024 alone, the leasing department of GTC SA has signed 12 annexes, which in total covered almost 3,000 sq m of GLA. The brands that will be available in Północna in the coming years include such popular brands as Sephora, Sizeer, Diverse, Vistula, Bytom, Wólczanka, Pako Lorente, Etam and Bijou Brigitte.

– The annexes that have already been signed mean that as a facility we currently have a steadily developing brand portfolio, in which buyers can still find their favorite brands, in addition to the successively introduced novelties. What's more, in this way we are also creating an attractive environment for tenants, in which brands that attract customers are present – he says.

Thanks to the signed annexes, the Swedish clothing chain Kappahl will continue to occupy the premises with an area of over 902 square meters. In its place, in a 71-square-meter showroom, will also be the children's brand Newbie belonging to the Kappahl Group. The Hebe drugstore will continue to operate on almost 300 square meters.

– 12 annexes in 7 months is a result that shows that for many key tenants we remain an attractive business location. Brands are now convinced to long-term cooperation by, among other things, the results of the facility, its pro-family nature, as well as the absorbent consumer market in which they can operate. The latter is unique in many respects – says Justyna Markiewicz.

– As the latest Market Side research has shown us, it already covers over 2 million people living in the northern districts of Warsaw, but also in neighbouring towns. What's more, this market is constantly growing, which is due to the location of the facility in Białołęka. This is the district that is gaining new residents the fastest in the capital and is literally growing from the inside. This is an opportunity that brands, especially lifestyle brands, are eager to use – he says.
