Prime Minister Kaja Kallas said that since 1.6 billion for ammunition is a huge amount, the decision on its allocation should be made during the preparation of the state budget. Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, in turn, added that there is not much time for discussion, because the draft state budget for next year should be presented to the Riigikogu in September. Kallas noted that a discussion on the issue of defense needs has taken place. “But how much we can make decisions about and for how long has to be considered along with other decisions,” she said. Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur and Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna share the same opinion – there is not enough money in other areas.
