John Lewis has revealed its top ten toys for Christmas 2024 as it gears up for the much anticipated golden quarter.
The retailer said customers have already started thinking about the holiday period, with over 1,000 online searches recorded on its website so far this month.
Its top picks, which range from £14.99 to £250, focus on togetherness with all toys designed to play with friends or family and encourage imaginary play and escapism.
Barbie finds itself in the top 10 for another year as the doll celebrates her 65th anniversary, while Lego is a guarenteed bestseller.
Other winning products on the list include a Bonnie Bear, Gecko Hexbug and a Play-Doh Ice Cream set.

John Lewis toys and books buyer Alan Wright said: “Each year we work hard pulling together our Top Toys list, looking at customer insight as well as trends, choosing products we believe children will love for the festive period.
“We’ve had a high number of searches for ‘Toys’ on the John Lewis website in August, so we know it’s a category our customers love to shop, and anticipate that numbers will only continue to increase in the run up to Christmas.”
