People may be infected with flu

People become infected as a result of direct contact with the sick animal expressing the virus, as also consuming raw patogen-contaminated meat , containing viruses unpasteurized milk and
unpasteurized milk processes. Disease does not threaten people’s lives and does cause serious complications.

As read in communication GIS, the incubation time of infection in people is 2-12 days, average 3-4 days. Symptoms include vesicular lesions on the mucous membranes of the mouth, on the skin of the hands/foot, but also fever, pain of the throat, pain of the head. The course of disease is mild and ends with recovery in 1-2 weeks. No cases of transmission of disease from human to human.
In humans, in particular in children, the symptoms of disease may be similar to viral disease of hands, foot and mouth (disease boston disease)
How to protect against infectionfoot and mouth disease?
As added GIS, individual prophylaxis of infection with virus of mumps consists of application of personal protection and increased hygiene during contact with sources of infection, which includes in particular:
- animals sick or after sick
- excretions and secretions of sick animals
- raw meat, unpasteurized milk
and their processes
- premises of sick animals
- means of transport sick animals
- of biological waste
all animals, from
which is produced meat, undergo individual pre- and post-slaughter examination for the purpose of confirming the safety
oftheproducts produced.
