- Companies that have found themselves in a difficult situation as a result of the flood may apply for instalment payment of tax arrears, postponement of the payment deadline or cancellation of the tax arrears.
- Entrepreneurs cooperating with public benefit organizations, local governments, healthcare entities and the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves who support flood victims will not pay VAT on donated goods and services.
- Entrepreneurs supporting victims should remember to draw up a written agreement with one of the indicated entities, which will state that the goods supplied or services provided will be used for purposes related to helping people affected by heavy rainfall or flooding in September 2024.
- As an agricultural producer you can apply for: agricultural tax relief, assistance with KRUS contributions and assistance with KOWR fees.

It is worth adding that companies that have found themselves in a difficult situation as a result of the flood may file an application for instalment payment of tax arrears, deferment of the payment deadline or cancellation. Article 67a of the Tax Ordinance allows for such a solution. The application should be justified by an important interest of the taxpayer or the public interest.

Many companies have also joined in helping flood victims. The government wants to make these activities easier for them. The Ministry of Finance in the draft regulation, which was published on September 16, 2024 in the Government Legislation Center, indicates that entrepreneurs cooperating with public benefit organizations, local governments, medical entities and the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves, who support flood victims, will not pay VAT on donated goods and services.
