Indian company Tech Mahindra, a leading global provider of technology consulting and digital solutions for companies in various industries, is expanding its business in the Baltic countries by opening a new business process outsourcing center in Riga. The new center will employ about 500 specialists. The center was opened on July 2 at the Jaunā Teika office complex in the presence of Tanmay Lal, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to the Republic of Latvia and Sweden, Mayor of Riga Vilnis Kirsis and Parliamentary Secretary of the Ministry of Economy Jurgis Miezainis. The company's management notes that the capital of Latvia has been strategically chosen as a suitable place to enter European markets.
