As reports AgroPortal, agroholding Kernel has had to stop production at one of its plant oil production because of lack of raw material. Many Ukrainian processors have already for months not produced sunflower oil due to lack of seeds in supermarkets and have been processing soy and grape, but these seeds also started to be in short supply.

Kernel in communications announces, that because of limited supply of sunflower three plants processing other seeds ole and have already processed 93 tys. ton soy and 14 thousand ton of thistle. In January , however, raw started to run out, as a result of which one plant stopped this temporary operation. In the last quarter 2024 year Kernel processed 973 tys. ton of oil crops, that is by 20% more than the

previous year and 42% more than in the previous quarter.
