B Within the project in ten Magnet Pharmacies (eight in Moscow and two in Yaroslavl region) installed eco-boxes, where it is possible to release blisters from medicines, flasks, tubes and any other packaging from medicines.
The recycling of pharmaceutical waste is carried out in several steps. First the collected packaging is sorted into waste paper and other components. The waste paper is pressed and becomes finished secondary raw material. The crushed blisters are screened and aerodynamically separated, after which the package is freshly sent to a shredder. Then with electrostatic separation the PVC and aluminum are extracted. The recycled materials are used to produce various goods, such as egg containers, recycled aluminum and sewer pipes.
In pilot mode the project will last until the end of May, after a decision will be made about its further development.
