Allegro knows how to satisfy customers. Check who else your customers appreciate
Allegro Pay removes barriers related to online shopping: people using our service appreciate the security of transactions, the ability to check products at home and make appropriate decisions in the context of managing their household budget. Moreover, the service supports the very different shopping needs of Allegro customers, enabling financing both everyday purchases and occasional purchases that occur during periods of increased spending – comments Rafał Czernik, VP Financial Services at Allegro.
Convenience and security of financing
Allegro Pay offers safe methods of financing purchases on the most popular shopping platform in Poland, enabling their repayment within 30 days of purchase, or dividing the payment for a purchase from PLN 200 into convenient installments: 2, 3, 5, 10, 20, and from July 1 2024 also in 30 installments, in case of purchase for an amount above PLN 1,000.
The service can be activated for free by completing an application. After assessing creditworthiness, the client receives information about the amount of funds granted. After activating the service, buyers can freely add products to the cart and finance them via Allegro Pay. All information about purchases and repayments is available in one place ⎼ in the Allegro Pay user panel on Allegro. The platform also provides notifications reminding about upcoming repayment dates, while ensuring the convenience and safety of buyers.
Most Allegro Pay customers are people aged 30-49, and the average customer age is about 40. These are mainly people who value financial stability and declare systematic savings more often than other buyers on Allegro.
What do we know about Allegro Pay
The Allegro Pay service is entirely based on the consumer credit agreement model, which means that each purchase is associated with the conclusion of a consumer credit agreement by the customer. The service meets all legal requirements for this type of contracts, including: Consumer Credit Act, including changes introduced by the so-called the "anti-usury act", provisions aimed at limiting some of the effects of identity theft (PESEL register of reservations) and provisions on the development of the financial market and the protection of investors in this market (the so-called "greengrocer's act"). Allegro Pay also strives to develop solutions that create high market standards in the field of consumer rights protection, including reliable and transparent information to customers about the service.
