From January to October 2024 year it was produced about 592 thousand.tons ton (28.3% of total tonnage of sausage products), which is 1.4% more than the same period of the previous year. In production of smoked delicatessen the Central Federal District – here is produced almost 50% of smoked sausage, and ahead of all regions – Moscow. Fried sausage is gaining popularity in the Russians’ diet, showing almost a twice increase in comparison with the last year: “Russian market of sausage meat products is stably growing and demonstrates high potential for future development. At the end of 2024 year the volume of exports of sausages and finished meat products could count 95 thousand tonnes, this is by 16% up from the previous year. In present time the products are exported to near and far abroad, to about 75 countries.
