"Oh, that's cheap!" isn't something you'll want to exclaim after this trip, but if you have a long shopping list and you hit the bargains, the trip could be worth it, especially if you're looking to stock up on booze.
The fact that Estonians still buy alcohol in Latvia could be judged by the overcrowded parking lots of large liquor stores on the other side of the border, as most of the parked cars had Estonian license plates.
