The top ten also included the activities of land transport, construction, software development, advertising activities, as well as the provision of personal services, which include, among other things, washing and dry cleaning of fabric and fur products, hairdressing and beauty salon services.
The largest increase in business registrations in Moscow, compared to the first half of last year, was shown by the sphere of television and radio broadcasting (+300%), production of paper and paper products (+200%), and employment and personnel selection activities (+125%).
“The share of women in opening business in the capital increased to 44.3% (in the first half of 2023 – 42.8%), the share of men was 55.7% (from 57.2%). To calculate the data, Delovaya Sreda analyzed more than 90 thousand individual entrepreneurs and LLCs throughout the country, which were opened using its own business registration service and remote account opening in 2024.
