The Trade Quality Inspectorate in Lublin issued a decision banning the placing on the market in Poland of one batch of frozen raspberries imported from Ukraine. As we read in the inspection announcement, the cargo weighing 21,000 kg was withdrawn "due to improper organoleptic characteristics". However, we read on the Ukrainian website Latifundist that the Polish inspection showed "the presence of rotten fruit with visible mold and insect larvae, as well as an overestimated content of organic substances." Either way, the ban on Polish services was made immediately enforceable.
The same Lublin inspectorate also questioned 4 shipments of Ukrainian ice cream, with a total weight of 12,261.6 kg. They were banned from being commercially traded in Poland "due to improper labeling".
