
Increased harvests in America South and Asia and reduced in the US
With increased perspectives for planters from South America and Asia, which have almost compensated for reduced harvest estimates in the US, projected world production soy for the year 2024/2025 was significantly raised in relative to the previous year, to peak of 420 million ton (+6 proc. year to year).
Greater harvests, stable trade
Clean increase total availability is directed to higher projections and stocks, which both are visible on new peaks.
It is expected that trade will be stable in respect to the previous year, at level 180 million ton (+1 proc.). After high crops soon and u planters from the Northern Hemisphere IGC expect to be recovered, that total production in South America will reach a peak, increasing global production to a record (+6 proc.) in the season 2024/2025.
Consumption is expected to increase thanks to profits in segments of the food, feed and industrial markets, then the increase in three major countries should cause that world supplies will reach a new peak. It is expected that trade will increase 180 million ton (+1 proc.), with which is expected to be widespread, above purchases of key importers.
Under the leadership of Brazil suppliers from South America are to increase their total share in exports.
