Latvia is a favorable environment for technology development and innovation before entering European markets, and this is one of the country's attractiveness factors in the eyes of Indian IT services and consulting company Tech Mahindra, which has just opened a business process service center in Riga. Delfi Bizness reached out to the company to find out more about its plans in Latvia and the region, as well as to ask what advantages of Riga led it to open an office here and what kind of employees Indians are looking for. In April, Tech Mahindra signed a lease agreement for a 3,635 square meter office in complex Jaunā Teika, which became the largest office rental transaction in the Baltic countries in 2024 through the rental of existing commercial premises.
