According to the State Fire Service Headquarters in Radzyń Podlaski, the report about the incident was received by the brigade on Sunday, August 4, a few minutes after 6 p.m.
A brick chicken coop covered with eternit caught fire. There were over ten thousand chickens inside. More than half of them were saved.
Losses are initially estimated at PLN 200,000.
Troops from JRG Radzyń Podlaski, Volunteer Fire Department Kąkolewnica, Volunteer Fire Department Wygnanka, Volunteer Fire Department Grabowiec and Volunteer Fire Department Żakowola Stara took part in the action.
