Biedronka again accelerated the development of its store network. This is surprising in the context of market saturation with branches of this chain, as well as problems with cannibalization, which led to the crisis in the company in 2014/15 and the need to carry out deep restructuring. However, it seems that Biedronka's rapid development will not last long, so the operator is looking for its opportunities on the Slovak market and is also exploring the Romanian market.
How much space does Biedronka have left for development in Poland? How many stores will it be able to open? Is that why he has to go abroad?
