However, they are increasingly joined by individual farmers who have invested in equipment thanks to subsidies and offer their services at competitive prices – especially since not everyone plans to issue an invoice for the service provided. However, for farmers using these services, this only means potential savings.
Ploughing prices in 2024
Currently, plowing prices in the provinces are becoming more and more similar. The final price of the service depends mainly on the quality of the equipment that is used. Local market conditions also play a role, i.e. the number of service providers in a given area, soil quality, plot size, etc.
Here are some sample rates:
- Mazowieckie: Ploughing with a reversible plough costs up to PLN 400/ha
- Podlaskie: The price for ploughing is about PLN 270-300/ha.
- Lubelskie: The rate for ploughing is also about PLN 300/ha.
- Kujawsko-Pomorskie: Ploughing costs 300-350 PLN/ha.
- Wielkopolskie: Prices start at PLN 280/ha with an upper limit of PLN 350/ha.
Fuel prices and agricultural services
As we mentioned earlier, the stability of fuel prices means that the amounts do not change dramatically, and fuel costs are currently included in the price of the service. The success of price negotiations between the farmer and the service provider depends mainly on the size of the order and the distance of the field from the place of business of the person performing the "work".
