- In July 2024 vs. July 2023, the price dynamics amounted to minus 0.9%. In the retail channel, the price decrease was -1.7%, while in the wholesale channel, prices increased by +0.2%.
- Comparing July 2024 to June this year, the average price of materials changed only by +0.1%. Analyzing the data cumulatively (for the period January-July 2024 to 2023), their dynamics remain at minus 2.5%.

The increase in the prices of construction materials has stopped. More decreases than increases
PSB Trade on building material prices
Prices fell by 1% in the following groups: decorations, installations, heating, equipment, household appliances, joinery and thermal insulation. In the following groups, the following prices fell: tiles, bathrooms, kitchens, waterproofing and tools (-2% each), lighting, electrics (-3%), garden and hobby (-4%), dry construction and roofs, gutters (-5% each). The biggest drop occurred in the finishing category (-7%).
Product prices in July 2024, compared to June this year, increased in 10 product groups. In these categories, prices increased by up to 1%: tiles, bathrooms, kitchens, home surroundings, roofs, gutters, waterproofing, decorations, construction chemicals, installations, heating, tools, lighting, electrics and garden, hobby. Prices in the equipment and household appliances group did not change. In 8 groups, prices dropped by up to 1%: walls, chimneys, paints, varnishes, cement, lime, dry construction, joinery, automotive, finishes and OSB boards, wood. The largest price drop occurred in thermal insulation (-1.3%).
However, for the period January-July 2024 vs the same period in 2023, price increases were recorded in 3 product groups, with the largest increase in cement, lime (+5%) and a 3% increase in the prices of paints, varnishes, and 1% in construction chemicals. Prices in the automotive category did not change. Meanwhile, price drops occurred in 16 categories. Prices dropped by 1% in the groups: joinery and equipment, household appliances. Next in order were: decorations, installations, heating and tiles, bathrooms, kitchens (-2% each), tools, walls, chimneys, waterproofing, home surroundings and lighting, electrical (-3% each), garden, hobby (-4%), thermal insulation (-5%), dry construction and finishes (-6% each) and roofs, gutters (-7%). And the largest price drops occurred in OSB boards and wood (-13%).
