An unusual accident involving a tractor driver occurred on a dirt road on the outskirts of Puławy, in the Lublin province. The farmer, driving through a narrow ravine, ran over a hornet's nest. A swarm of insects attacked the driver, so much so that the man had to jump off the tractor and flee – reports the Lublin112 portal.
The tractor continued without a driver and overturned. The 37-year-old suffered anaphylactic shock as a result of multiple stings and had trouble breathing. Paramedics took him to hospital. According to information from the District Police Headquarters in Puławy, the injured man is in stable condition.
Because the accident occurred in a place inaccessible to cars, firefighters reached the injured man on a quad bike and transported him to the ambulance. Then they put the tractor back on its wheels.
