By the end of autumn, the first branded home appliance store of the Russian chain Redmond will open in Belarus in one of the shopping centers in Minsk. It is not reported in which shopping center it will open. The area of the store will be more than 100 sq. m, writes RBC .
As stated in the report, Belarusian consumers could previously purchase Redmond equipment in various stores and marketplaces.
The new store will offer the same range of products as the chain's Russian stores, at the same prices after converting them into local currency.
Head of the Redmond branded retail department Andrey Belobrodsky notes that the main advantage of branded stores for the buyer is that all devices can be touched, the weight and quality of materials can be assessed, the functions can be understood and expert advice from sellers can be obtained. In addition, the official representation of the brand in a particular region increases the level of trust in the company, its products, and also helps to resolve issues with the service maintenance of equipment.
According to him, the manufacturer's products are in great demand among Belarusian buyers and expanding the brand's presence in the country is part of Redmond's development strategy.
"In our opinion, the Belarusian market is a promising direction. We have been looking for suitable retail space here for a long time and for opening our first store we chose a space of more than 100 sq. m. in one of the popular shopping centers in Minsk," said Andrey Belobrodsky.
It is assumed that the main feature of the Belarusian stores will be a special approach to working with customers: master classes and tastings of dishes prepared using Redmond branded equipment are planned to be held in the stores.
Redmond household appliances are aimed at buyers with an average income level, and the same price positioning is planned to be maintained in Belarus. Redmond has been on the market for 18 years. The brand's range includes more than 1,000 items, many of which can be integrated into the Smart Home ecosystem (and some of the solutions are patented). Redmond household appliances are sold in more than 30 countries around the world.
