Olsztyn police intervened on the S16 expressway, which is the city's bypass. They stopped a combine harvester there, whose operator had no right to use the expressway.
The officers immediately stopped the agricultural machine for a road check. A 34-year-old man was driving it, claiming that he was going to a nearby town. A police breathalyzer test showed that the driver was sober. The officers issued the driver with a fine for using the road in a manner inconsistent with its intended use. Due to the real threat to other road users, after the intervention was completed, the officers secured his exit to the proper road – we read in the police statement.
