According to the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Kętrzyn, a serious accident occurred in a field on one of the farms in the district. An agricultural tractor overturned during field work. The farmer driving it was crushed by the vehicle.
"After extracting the injured person, bystanders present at the scene started cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The injured person was transported by LPR to the District Hospital in Giżycko," we read in the report of firefighters from Kętrzyn.
Another farmer lifted the overturned Zetor with his Ursus, thanks to which the injured man was freed and resuscitated. Then he was handed over to paramedics, and due to the farmer's serious injuries, a rescue helicopter was called to the scene. Four teams of firefighters and police officers also took part in the rescue operations.
