The National Association of Rapeseed and Protein Crops Producers provides current rapeseed prices for the next day. The harvest is accelerating, although it is hampered in places by rainfall. Compared to yesterday, the increases usually amount to PLN 5 per tonne. On the Paris Stock Exchange on Thursday, rapeseed was quoted at EUR 500.75 per tonne, which is approximately PLN 2,140/tonne.
Meanwhile, in France, the harvest is suspended by rain and the weather will remain unsettled for the next 10 days. As Grzegorz Tomczyk wrote, the prospect of smaller rapeseed harvests on a global scale means that the demand for seeds may be high, and therefore the prices for farmers will be more satisfactory.
